The idea for "Faceless" came to me while sketching at 3 am in my dim studio, lit by candlelight.
I think some people dislike fear or pain, but it's what makes us human, and alive. 
 
This painting is for my fellow sadists or masochists to embrace the dark side of humanity.
 
46 x 55 cm acrylic and candlewax on canvas
 
The stages of making this were dangerous as working, even painful at times when I accidentally burnt myself. 
 
I hope this one-of-a-kind painting brings a unique and macabre atmosphere to somebody's home
